My calories burning rate is simple crazy. I'm loosing 9 calories a minute by walking to the shop. By making food I sometimes loosing more calories then I eat after. I berely making ends with food I have to eat per day. Let's say today I eated 3400 calories, and I have to eat this much every day to simplee stay alive. I lost in last 2 years 25 KG. At first I was happy with that, as I was otherweight before, but now, don't know what to think. Before I was doing some sports, now I stoped. Otherwise I will have to eat 4000 calories a day, and is not possible, unless I go to fast foods and unhealthy way of living. Siting most of time by my computer. Working only 24 hours a week. It's hard to imagine how I'm burning all this calories. Did blod test. It showed perfect results. Before I had a litl problem with cholesterol, but now it's perfect. It gone down from 5.9 to 4.5 in 1 year. Heart rithm good, blood pressure is also perfect. Don't know what to think. Should I be happy? I can eat almost any amount of food I want, stay in bed all day and still be slim and healthy. Some strange strange thing. Anyone share my experiance here?
Sorry for my English, not native

What is your weight/gender/height/age? We need to know that in order to calculate your BMR. After that you then need to weigh all of your food even the packaged kind to ensure you are tracking your intake properly. Most fastfood is undercalculated by about 20%. Many containers might list a serving as being 65 grams but the contents weight 75 grams. All of this can come together and take your 2500 calorie diet and turn it into a 3000 calorie diet, even though you "tracked your calories." Also be wary as sometimes "calories from fat" are not included in total calories. I ate a bag of pumpkin seeds that were 100 calories per serving yet had 12 grams of fat and 20 grams of carbohydrate and 5 grams of protein (12g fat = 108Kcal, +20g carb = 80 cal, + 5g protein = 20 cal for a total of 208 calories per serving).

If you go to your main tile, set it to calories, daily and see how many you burn per 15 minutes of sleeping.
I'm pretty trim now and I burn 1500 calories without getting out of bed (17 per 15 minutes of sleeping)
I can burn 4000 if I do a lot of excercise.

Didn't know you could do that. Very cool!
For the record, mine says 15 calories burned per 15 minutes of sleep.

I only burn 6 cals while resting. How do you improve your resting calorie burn per minute?

You cant really, well, you cant change what the fitbit thinks.
Its just based on heigh, weight, age and gender, but 5 sounds REALLY low, unless you are about 10 inches tall.
Have you checked that the above are right?

What time of day was it when it said that?
Your Fitbit counts from midnight on, so if you looked at it around 10am it will have figured you burned calories for 10 hours already, even if you weren't wearing it because it was n the box. If you look right before midnight, it will figure you had burned almost a whole day's calories.
And you do burn calories even while you sleep. So when you wake up in the morning, it should say you already burned some, because you did.
As you wear your Fitbit, the calculations get more and more accurate, so they might change somewhat.
Also, make sure you set your stride correctly for the most accurate mileage. It's a step most people forget to do.

There are a number of ways to calculate it (take 10 steps, measure the distance and divide by 10 is the easiest).
Then, on the web dashboard go to Settings (cog on the upper right) and scroll down to Body Info.
I set mine up when I first started, and when I found the mileage on my Fitbit was averaging a little lower than my GPS, I increased it a little. Now the two are really close.
I'm not sure if there's a way to change it on the phone app. I couldn't find one at least.

9 calories per minute is a bit high. Are you sure your not burning 9 calories in 5 minutes? The Fitbit Dashboard view is in 15 minute increments unless you click into "More" to see all of your activities - then it's displayed in 5 minute increments. At 9 calories per minute, you'd be burning nearly four pounds of weight per day...which is incredibly unhealthy.
Personally, I burn 8 every five minutes until I work out. Then it depends on the activity. I am six-foot tall and weigh almost 280 lbs, so I'll burn calories faster than someone smaller than myself. I also work at a desk a large portion of the day and often spend my free time watching netflix or playing games, so I have an idea about a lethargic lifestyle.
The only way I can burn close to 9 calories per minute is to put on the weighted gloves and play Kinect Tennis on the Xbox for 20 minutes without slowing down.
Another alternative is that you're suffering from Cachexia. This is a very debilitating illness that causes the body to waste away. Treatment often includes increasing calorie intake. If you truly are losing 9 calories per minute regardless of your activity, you might want to consider getting checked out.

Kind of varies. Including your beats per minute napping, what you've consumed that's high in sodium, if you drank any alcohol, etc. Mine recorded 19-20 bpms per 15 minutes from all of the above.
