Weight and sleep connection

I know there is connection between weight loss/gain  and the amount of sleep you get.

Has anyone done the exercise of comparing their weight changes with their sleep logs.

I haev a couple  of years of Fitbit Aria weight data  and sleep logs and I am looking for a way of comparing them.

As yet, iI haven't  managed to create the comparsion data. Has anyned doen this?

@QuirkyDude I have not, in an analytical sense -- but I do have life experience. So, "the exercise of comparing their weight changes with their sleep logs" applies to me, although technically I don't have logs - just memories. In 2011 when I weighed around 310 to 320↑↓ I suffered from Apnea, and I had severe problems with my sinuses that kept me from sleeping. During the last 5-1/2 years as I've dropped aruond 90 or so pounds, both the Apnea and the sinus problem disappeared. The apnea went away when I passed 280 pounds on my way down, and the sinus problem disappeared this year when I was around 235. Both of these issues had a substantial effect on both the amount and the quality of my sleep. Nowadays, at 222 pounds, I sleep effortlessly and deeply through the night, and feel chipper all day. Way back then, I was awake much of the night, very stressed because I hated going to bed, and was drowsy all day long.

I know a lot of people that have Apnea that is not related to obesity, but it certainly was in my case.

I don't think many people have charted their changes in sleep patterns as you have requested, but I think there's a lot of people that share my experience. Cat Very Happy
