Weight data before May 2024 is missing

I've been using Fitbit for more than 15 years. All of my data before May 2024 is no longer available on the app. Since the website is no longer in existence, is there a way to retrieve my old data?

Hello @cjkaufman

Have you had a chance to uninstall, then re-install the Fitbit app on your phone? This process has worked for many users to restore their historical data in the Fitbit app.

  • Log out of the Fitbit app on your phone
  • Uninstall the app
  • Re-install the app
  • Log back into the Fitbit app

If this doesn't restore your historical data, there's likely an issue on the Fitbit side where your data on the Fitbit servers isn't properly syncing with the app. Your data isn't lost, it's not syncing with your Fitbit app.

Sometimes, this type of syncing issue gets resolved by Fitbit in the backend. Other times, the fix will be rolled out in an app update. I'm not sure which it will be and will report back if I get more info.
