Weight loss buddies

 I need to lose at least 40 pounds, I just can't seen to get motivated to eat properly or exercise,do you have that problem? I need support buddies to encourage one another.  If your interested lets be friends. The more the better.

Ah yes, motivation...I have it...then I don't.  So I know what you mean.  I would like to lose 30 lbs.  I've lost several lbs. thus far, but I'm trying to get serious now and hoping that fitbit is my answer.  I've added you, so let's try to stay motivated together!

I also need to lose about 40lbs.   Have just started to run/walk again to get back to running like before.   I just got my fitbit in this morning, so I'm ready to get started!   I could use some help with motivation and accountability too.

Yes! Motivation is good!  I am looking to lose 40 as well.  Love the fitbit it is working well for me!

Count me in.  I have had my fit bit for a couple weeks.  I really like that its my little accountability partner.  I entered a stressful position with my company two years ago.  I went from 145 to 188.  I found myself not eating after long intervals, then making bad food decisions because I was so hungry.  I just stopped working out.  After seeing a picture of myself at the beach I decided I had to do something.  Tracking my food, planning meals, exercising every day.  When I feel stressed at work, I get up from my desk and take a walk around the building.  I don't smoke so I consider it my clean air break.  Look forward to sharing ideas with everyone.

Help me stay motivated. I am 63 and need to lose 30-40 pounds. I find it difficult to stay motivated.

I need to get motivated, I work at a desk all day and try to walk but I don't have the energy, I go home and make supper and just want to relax.I need that extra push to move forward.

I also have a desk job and struggle to stay motivated. I've been trying to increase the amount of steps I get while at work by taking short walks around the office every hour. It has seemed to help a bit. My biggest issue when it comes to staying motivated is lack of structure. I have discovered that if I sign up for a class, I'm super motivated and stick with it. However, when I try to go at it alone, I struggle. I would love to help keep any and all of you motivated. Best of luck to all of you.

Excellent, normally I don't take my breaks with the exception of my lunch , today I went up to the 10th floor walked down the stairs to each floor till I reached the second floor. I did 2,000 step.

Just took a walk but didn't reach my goal of 7000 steps. Keep walking! We're gonna get there.

Getting started is always the hardest part.  YOU CAN DO IT!!!  Walk as soon as you get home.  Then make dinner.

Tomorrow, get up and get moving.  Plan it.  Do it.  I have a friend coming over tomorrow morning to workout and I also hope to get a walk in.  

 

What do you have planned for this weekend?
