On high exercise days fitbit is wanting me to eat what I feel is too much! Do you follow suggestion of fitbit on cal intake? Also can someone explain " in the zone" does that mean weight loss zone? 20 gone, about 15 to go. A little help would be appreciated.

The figure Fitbit is giving you is a number that has a deficit already built into it. If you chose a slower weight loss (1/2 lb a week, for instance) it will show you a number that you can eat -- having burned enough fuel already to cover it -- that is 250 calories less than you actually need. (That's how I've seen it explained anyway.) That doesn't mean that you can't have a larger deficit, if you want. Some days, if I'm really hungry, I go up to that number, but most days, I try to stay under 1300 calories, which is my personal goal. If I'm really active, I might go up to 1400 calories, but I burn 1650-1800 calories a day. So some days my deficit is 250 calories (on the days I eat to Fitbit's numbers) and some days it's closer to 500 calories, when I choose to eat 1200 calories instead.
