Is my caloric deficit for weight loss shown somewhere or is it factored in to how many calories a day I am not suppose to exceed and how does that relate to calories burned in vs out just not sure how to read my dashboard.
I thought I read somewhere for me to lose about 3 lbs I need to consume 250 calories less but less than what actual amount is it against the amt I've earned minus the 250? Is what I am trying to say make any sense?

To lose 3lbs requires you burn 10,500 calories more than you consume ( 3 x 3,500 cals). If you are consuming 250 calories less than you are buring you will lose 3lbs in approximately 42 days (remember its not an exact science, and if you read posts here you will see it might take longer/shorter than that - probably longer).

On the dashboard, the in-vs-out tile (gas gauge) shows how many calories eaten you have logged (in) vs how many calories you have expended so far that day (out) since midnight. The food plan tile (knife and fork over plate) shows the calories logged in as eaten (again) and how many calories you can still eat that day with your plan deficit (e.g. 250 calories per day) figured in based on the presumed number of calories you will burn that day (this number will vary based on activity recorded by device so far that day and certain settings in your profle)
As I understand it.
Hope this helps
