I'm in the same boat... but, one thing that is going great for me is my membership to Sam's club-it's pricey but worth it! I stock up on fruits and veggies and I have so much I need to eat before it goes bad- it fills my diet. And for the winter time- the prices are great for the amount of fruits you get!

It's been good for me so far 🙂

Yours is an old post, but I just wanted to say that I hired a trainer who asked me what I was eating. My reply, "Greek Yogurt with fruit and almonds, oatmeal with fruit, fruit, etc." He told me due to the different types of sugars, cut out fruit and dairy until I get to my goal weight then I can eat them to maintain. So, I'm eating mostly Low Sugar oatmeal with cinnamon and almonds, LOTS of alllllllll kinds of vegetables, almonds, chicken breast, eggs/whites, 100 cal bagels, brown rice, baked potato with salsa, peppered turkey breast, etc. It has to do with the types of sugars and your body not being able to break them down until 6-8 hours! So muscle burns instead of fat.

Are you using the food log you can access on the dashboard to enter everything you eat --meals and snacks?  It was a real eye opener for me.  It is really a great feature, and gets easier / faster to use the more you use it.  After having a running total of calories I consumed the first day I tried it, I was shocked at how they add up.  And, I was really watching what I was eating that day!  So I shudder to think at how many calories I've been taking in a day when I snack with  wreckless abandon, including a significant amount of chocolate every day.  Using the food log really has made me concious of what I eat, and it's fun to look at the calories consumed v. callories burned at the day--especially when there is a calorie defecit of several hundred or more.  I now know why I was slowly gaining weight the past several years. I had no idea how many calories I was consuming v. burning.  Hope this helps.
