Did you mean:

intake vs. burn

My setting is positioned at sedentary. Before I go to bed, I have reached "nailed it" status in my food zone, but when I wake up, it says that I went over my alloted caloric intake! Why is this happening? Thank you in advance for your help! 🙂

I think this is the thread might help you:

I know you burn calories throughout the day just by breathing...however you burn more calories by being active.  It starts over every day so when you wake up you have far less calories burned(out) than when you went to bed the night before so you might be over at the beginning of the day depending on what you eat and when.  For instance if you just wake up you might have only burned 100 calories but you might have eaten a granola bar which is 130.  Your count will say "over" until you burn those extra 30 calories.  Because of this, I usually log in my food at the end of the day.  This gives me a better picture.

I hope this helps.
