levels

My fitbit says on average I burn 3000 a day calories +and - 200 mostly + .   I eat according to MfP about 1800 - 2000 calories again I try for the lower amount .

I also go to the gym 5-6 times a week doing 60 min on a treadmill ,usually @ 3.6 @ 3.7 with a incline of 4.5 ° burning about 600 calories a session, plus an extra 15 mins on weights every day.{109 kilo}

I have been doing this for the last 60 days and have only lost 5.5 kilo. I know we had Christmas in between but even on Xmas day only consumed 2.800 calories ......

Do you agree that I should be losing weight faster than I am?

What’s your age, height and gender? An average loss of 0.70 kg per week for 8 weeks straight is more than decent IMO. It implies a daily deficit of about 750 calories. Losing at a much faster pace than that usually means you’ll hit a wall (the dreaded "plateau" you often see mentioned here) sooner rather than later.

Using this online calculator, you would be burning 2862 calories at the "moderate" activity level, which is in the same ballpark as what your Fitbit is telling you. It’s difficult to assess your exact activity level based solely on the description of your formal workouts. Average step count is usually a good proxy, as it also takes into account informal activity that takes place during the day. If your step count were 15k or higher, your activity level could possibly qualify as "high" on the standard scale.

At any rate, I would continue eating around 2000 and be happy with a weekly drop of 0.50 kg or more. At some point, you may no longer lose as much as previously, even though activity and eating remain at the same level. This is expected and a sign you should switch to maintenance (you can resume weight loss later on). Congrats for the weight lost so far!

OK, then I would say "moderate" would best describe your activity level. It would appear calories burned as estimated by your Fitbit are not that far off from the actual number, based on your logged intake and changes seen on the scale.
