My motivation at the begining of the year was my gallstones. I didn't want to go through that pain and I knew that losing the weight and eating healthy could stop it. But now, after losing 40lbs and seeing the progress I've made and how I feel...I'm my own motivation. I'm amazing and I know I can do this! (As you can tell I talk myself up a bunch, but I truely am proud of myself.) When I start mfp in Jan I linked it up to my facebook so every day it shares my food journal when I complete it. I have a whole list of friends and relatives cheering me on and keeping me accountable. Believe me...it's a huge motivator. I also have a lean and sexy husband cheering me on and an energetic 5 year old son forcing me outside and moving. Oh yea...I totally got this.

Hi All and a special Hi to you Evelyn,

My motivation is health. A few months ago my doctor told me that I would have Diabetes very soon. He evaluated that in response to my lifestyle, weight, and current health. I challenged him to show me, so when he said I should have a general blood test I agreed.

The testing showed that I had high glucose numbers, extreme Uric Acid in my system, too much weight, and a critical possibility of having Type-2 Diabetes for the rest of my life. As I had many other negative hereditary health factors, at that moment I decided that "I WILL NOT GET DIABETES".

Afters 24 weeks I have lost 30 pounds. It was a bit difficult at the beginning but being where I am, it was all worth it. Sometimes I struggle with being hungry but with what I want to do, FitBit and my health program help me focus.

I wish all of you the best and want you all to succeed. Actually.. Don't stop because YOU WILL ALL SUCCEED.

The best.

Fidel
