Android app crashing and periods gone

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

This period tracker is still failing.  I try to hold down the button the day my period starts and it just shuts the app down.  I've tried over 20 since I got my period over a week ago and it still won't track and I've restarted my phone several times.  The app also seems to delete what I could track.  I've submitted feedback.   Nothing changes. Either fix it or remove it.  I'm not sure you understand the pain of having your period and then getting frustrated that the period tracker won't work.  You owe me 6 months of Aleve paid meds for having to deal with this crappy tracker.

Welcome on board @K10Widow, it's nice to see you here! Thanks for the steps you've taken in order to sort this out. Nice way to go!

If your app is crashing, please try the following:

  • Make sure that your Fitbit app is up-to-date (Android version should be on 2.73 as of today)
  • Log out from your Fitbit app
  • Force quit the app
  • Turn off the Bluetooth
  • Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes
  • Turn on the Bluetooth
  • Log back into your Fitbit app

If the issue persists, try uninstalling and reinstalling your Fitbit app. If this doesn't solve the issue, let me know please.

In regards to the periods gone, 4 days ago a new version of the Fitbit Android app (2.82) was released to 10% of Android users that should resolve this issue (logged periods deleted). If you haven't received the update yet, please stay tuned.

I'll be around, keep me posted!
