Hello all, forgive if this has already been discussed here - a quick search didn't turn anything up.
I am in late perimenopause to menopause. I don't really have menstrual cycles anymore. I'm aware of the debate/request to add menopausal features. This is separate.
I understand that I can supposedly just track period symptoms, without actually tracking periods, which might be a workaround for menopausal women (we do still have symptoms to track). So I tried setting up the module by selecting "just track symptoms".
No matter how many times I configure it to just track symptoms, if I want to add a symptom, it takes me right back to the beginning of the configuration steps. Therefore it is unusable.
Is there a fix for this?
Thank you.

PS. I did go through config again, and added a few symptoms. I closed the Fitbit app, reopened it, and went to Female Health tracker. Once again I had to configure the tracker, and when I got to my calendar my symptoms from previous entry had not been saved. I do not see a "save" button so I assume they should automatically be saved?

Hello there @moelle, thanks for stopping by! Thanks for already closing the Fitbit app and reopening again to solve the issue with the symptoms not saving.
Please make sure you've updated your Fitbit app to the latest version. This app version contains the fix for period data being deleted. Please update to this version as soon as you can.
In addition, I'd like to make it clear that any data that may have disappeared will not re-appear after updating to this new app version.
Let me know if you need further assistance.

Thanks for your response. I had already done those things.
I am menopausal so I do not have current menstrual cycle data to enter. Nonetheless, I had to enter it in order to "trick" the module into working.
In the Female Symptom Tracker module, unless you first "pretend" to be menstruating, and enter a menstrual cycle, it will not allow you to simply track symptoms. If you try, you'll be taken over and over to the setup screen and none of your data will be saved.
Once I entered my last cycle, which was obviously quite some time ago (over a year), the app began working. I had to first "turn on" period tracking and then turn it off. Now it saves anything I enter.
This was not in the instructions for this module so I feel this is a glitch.
I again beg for Fitbit to support women ages 45 and over (and often younger, as I was perimenopausal at 43) in monitoring their health.
Thank you for your consideration.

Hey Maria,
I have a charge 5 that's still showing me period predictions even though I've turned predictions off and taken the female health tile off of my dashboard. I'm in medically-induced menopause due to cancer, so it's especially annoying to see the period prediction as I scroll through my device...but I can't figure out how to turn it off entirely.
Thanks,
Kristy
