Female Health Tracker Selected Day

When selecting a day on the calendar (black circle) this tracker no longer indicates which day of the cycle I selected. For example, when I open the female health tracker, at the bottom, it indicates the current date, any symptoms I have selected, whether today falls in a predicted period or fertility window, and which cycle day today is (day 8 of 25). Now if I select a date that has passed or a future date, all the other info will change, but the cycle day will stay "day 8 of 25".

I like to look in the past/future dates to better predict symptoms. For example, I know that on the 11th day of my cycle I typically have anxiety. It is great to plan around that and avoid stressful situations. But I can no longer just select a date and see which day of my cycle it will be. I now have to count from the first day of that period/cycle to determine what the 11th day will land on. Is there a way to fix this/return it back to the previous display? It seems like a programming error.

The period tracker was poorly implemented and they've made it clear they're not going to fix the bugs, let alone improve the features. I'd suggest the app Clue, it will correlate your data for you.
