Hi there it is now 4/22/21 and I’m still having this issue. You mentioned it would be fixed on the next update, when will that be?

Hi everyone - I was also having this problem but just yesterday I deleted, then reinstalled the app and it is now working correctly! Maybe it might work for others too. Hope this helps!

Deleting and reinstalling the app worked for me to fix the default year issue (none of the period editing issues have been fixed for me yet). However, I also lost two days of data when I did it - so thoroughly lost it that when I spoke with customer support on day 3 they couldn’t even see that my device was activated for those two days and were trying to tell me that’s why my SpO2 firmware update hadn’t arrived yet. The only remaining proof is my resting heart rate chart which shows data for those days. I activated my device on the 15th.

Same here. It goes back to birth year. I cannot figure out how to fix it.

I noticed that yesterday! It said my period was going to start in a few days and I just had it. When I looked at the calendar, it started at my birth year. I’m having so many issues with the app all of a sudden, even after the update. No clue what is going on!

This is still an issue. When will it be addressed?

Best Answer

It's driving me nuts! Between the screwy calendar and the sleep reading issues I'm beginning to think I'm wasting my money.

Best Answer

Yes!! I’m also having the sleep reading issues! The glitches and the freezing are irritating. Never had this many issues with the app before.

My period tracker won’t show previous or future periods! I can see previous on trends, but nothing shows up on the calendar anymore

When I open my calendar in the app on my phone it opens up in June of 1986 and not on today’s date. Did I change this somehow and if so does anyone know a fix for this?

thanks

Erin

There's seems to be a problem with this. Try installing and reinstalling the Fitbit app - it worked for me and I didn't lose any of my past dates.

Good luck 😉

When I go into the period tracker on the app, it comes up August 1980 as the default. I have to then scroll 40 years to get to current data. Incidentally, I was born in August 1980. Went into my profile and changed my year of birth and yep, period tracker calendar defaults to the new birth month and year. What is happening? The good news is my saved data and all there and correct but scrolling 40 years is a bit inconvenient. Yes, I have restarted both the Sense and the app and my phone. This issue and others started around April 4th. Other issues include:

1. WAY too many floors recorded

2. Fitbit coach workouts are not syncing into my app.

3. No heart rate data on EDA scans

4. Sleeping heart rate data missing in sleep score breakdown.

I love my Sense and it has changed my life as far as health and fitness. Please get it together Fitbit!

When you look at the calendar, check what year comes up next to the month. I was having this issue and couldn’t figure out why nothing shows on the calendar. It was because my calendar was coming up set to august 1980 and I have to scroll the month up to current.

Any idea how much longer this may take? I heavily rely on this section of the app managing a medical condition.

thanks

It’s been over a month. You think y’all will fix this ever? Feels like you don’t value your female clients. JS.
