Period data changed in app when opened and won't edit/save

My period data was correct yesterday and on opening the app today, has changed from 'period ending in one day' to 'predicted to start in five'.  Ignoring the "why did that happen?" part and just going for a correction, when I try to edit, the app freezes.  I've tried restarting as well as uninstall/reinstall, which has not fixed the issue.
