Unable to delete a logged period on Android

It seems like the "Delete" option for a logged period has disappeared on the Fitbit App on Android, is there suppose to be another way to delete a period that I accidentally logged? When I click the pencil or hold down on today's date to edit the period, I only get "Save" or "Cancel" as an option (I have attached a photo of what it looks like from my phone).

I have the most current update of the Fitbit App (Version 2.73, updated on Jun 11).36713677_10156385038327674_9019440980981448704_n.png

Hey there @jchang25, thanks for stopping by and attaching the screen shot of what you're getting!

I'd recommend trying the following:

  • Make sure that your Fitbit app is up-to-date. Android has released a new update, version is now on 2.74
  • Log out of your Fitbit app
  • Force quit the app
  • Turn off the Bluetooth
  • Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes
  • Turn on the Bluetooth
  • Log back into your Fitbit app

After doing the steps above, to delete a period:

  1. From the Fitbit app dashboard, tap or click the female health tile.
  2. Tap or click a date on the calendar inside the period you want to delete.
  3. Tap or click the pencil icon.
  4. Tap or click Delete.

If you have trouble adding or editing a period, see our troubleshooting tips.

Point me out if you need further assistance!

Hi @MarreFitbit, thanks for letting me know about the new update. Unfortunately, my phone does not seem to recognize it. I checked the Google Play store to see if there was a new update, but it says I have the most current one (2.73). I tried uninstalling it and then reinstalling it, but it only installed the 2.73 version.

I followed the link you attached for 2.74, and in that post they mentioned the Android updates not meeting the new Fitbit App requirements. Is there somewhere I can go reference what Android version I need to see if maybe that might be causing the issue?

This never works for me. I have one day that refuses to delete after dozens of attempts over a few month's time.
