Welcome to Fitbit, rubygirl! I find the forums very helpful. Two specific reasons come to mind immediately:

1. The Help forum is a good place to find out more about your fitbit and to ask questions, if you have them. Here is the link: https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Help-Forums/ct-p/product

2. The Discussion forum is where I go to get motivated. I can read or join in the discussions ... hear from people who are just like -- trying to stay healthy or get into a healthier life style. The Fitbit is all about moving. And in these discussions, we talk about how to stay motivated, how to eat the right foods, and more.

The Fitbit unit itself is great. It helps to motivate me to keep moving. But the Help and Discussion boards complete the experience for me. I'm not alone. There are people here to help me along my journey to better health. I believe it can do the same for you, too.

Try it out for a couple weeks. Read the posts. Reply to some of them. Vote for the posting you find helpful. Then come back here and tell us what you think.

Santa was also good to me or should I say Mrs. Claus:)  Is anyone else having problems getting their fitbit force charged?  Mine has been plugged in for over 1 1/2 hours (the time it says to fully charge) and the only thing that shows on my display is a battery with an exclamation mark.  Any ideas?

How do u sync with ur fitness pal?

Best Answer

I'm on an Iphone running both the myfitnesspal app and the fitbit app. In the myfitnesspal app when you open the menu there is a tab for apps & devices and I clicked onto fitbit. I logged on with my account and it is syncing automatically from there.... I think...

Well it won't even sync with the gitbit app for me, but I am trying to sync up with the lap top. and it''s a no go

Did you get through the wizard?  Don't think it will sync if the unit is not charged 60%.  Got mine over the holiday as well and just finished syncing successfully.
