After having used a Jawbone up24 for about 3 months , decided to move to Fitbit Surge. These things really motivate me to work out....Now awaiting the Surge to be handcarried to my part of the word and I should have it March 30th...

Hoping to learn a lot from the existing Fit bit fans here on the board...

Hi there I've had my fitbit a few months now.
I love how it records my heartbeat I can calm myself down when it reaches overdrive at work

I love the fact that it gives me a call with the nane or number of who's calling linked to my phone so I don't even have to take the phone out my bag if I don't want to answer it so cool

The steps I walk daily I'm amazed easily chalk up the 10k daily in my job

The stairs are not always accurate and don't always get recorded but so far the other features I'm loving it

Hello to Rubygirl and all the others indicating they are new to Fitbit. Although I registered late last year, I've not gotten what I wanted until recently. Yesterday I finally got my Fiotbit Surge and love what I see so far, as I'd hoped. Trying several places locally, I finally went directly to Fitbit and got it. Although "delayed," it arrived in just a couple of days -- awesome! As I'd already had the Aria installed, I thought it would be a breeze to set up. Calling support revealed I had the software installed twice. Anyway, it was promply resolved with the first person that answered. Outstanding!

Ordering the Fitbit Charge HR for my wife will probably arrive in JUNE. All in good time! As for me, basically now a somewhat recent retiree, wanting to get back into PowerWalking and exercising at the local fitness center, compliments of SilverSneakers. For this year I want to achieve good placement in at least a couple of events this year. Biggest would be the New Albany Walking Classic (10K division; near Columbus, Ohio) September 13, 2015 -- biggest walk-only event in the country. Hope to see some of you there?
