I am a cancer thriver and just got my Fitbit Surge. I'm hoping to use it to maximize my cardiovascular function and reduce my risk of another cancer.

well I got my Fitbit Charge HR 3/3 using it mainly for motivation (I see it, oh yer 🙂
starting slow 20mins on walker (due to age and weight) sofar 5 kg and heart starting to find it to easy.
Might have to crank it up a bit for next month (but not tooo much, steady as she goesssss 🙂
I also heart monitor with scosche Rhythm+ (so I use both on walker and fitbit 24/7)
now have to learn to deal with you energetic bouncy people 🙂 (who brought the bouncy castle 🙂 haha

Hi all,
I brought a fitbit Surge at the weekend as I've always struggled to keep track of my training/food intake, which has in turn affected the results I see. So far I'm really impressed and the wireless Sync is just thing I need to make my post work/workout evenings as easy as possible.
I look forward to connecting with the community.

Hi ! I love my fitness pal. I use it to log all my food intake. I love the fact that I can scan food barcodes instead of manually entering data! What's your experience been like?

I'm semi-new. I had the fitbit zip but recently invested in the HR. I love it. It's helping me get serious about getting in shape.

HI Everyone--- I'm a newbie today - Just received my box from Amazon - overcame the temporary laptop sync issue and ready to get back to loving to move! I've been walking 1-2 times a day over the last few weeks and was relying on my Samsung built in step tracker- problem is I don't carry my phone constantly - I'm trusting in my new FitBit One(I started out on the cheap to make sure I like it and will use it wisely) will keep me motivated and moving. Too much computer work --- I have standup desk at the office but when I WFH I sit too long - I bought a bright pink band to use for those days to remind myself to check my steps and get up and move! My goals are big (30+ lbs at a minimum) but I know I can do it and my health is more important than the numbers. Best wishes to everyone on the community ---- Stay positive and take care of yourself --- no one can do it for us -- we have to take care of ourselves!

Hi All,
Just started using my Fitbit HR 2 days ago and really just trying to make the most of it. I appreciate any input on the new lifestyle that I started roughly 6 months ago which has led to me losing 53 pounds. Still looking to shed at least another 5, maybe 10. Looking forward to great topics and great people! -Joe

Hi! New to the community too! Was a Zip owner, but never really bothered with it....I think I made an account and that was it!
Now I have a new Charge, and much more motiviation! I'm very overweight but have lost 4.5stone so far, with a few more to go. I'm starting to try to be more active and I wanted the Charge to be my inspiration and challenger! (If I ever it get it set up properly..but I've asked that question elsewhere!!)
Its quite confusing finding your way around isnt it?? I'll get there though!
