Welcome @LiteralZombae and @AlejandraFitbit! 😉
I think (pretty sure) that @AlejandraFitbit and I eat pizza every week, we're pizza partners. 😎
Sprite @LiteralZombae? 😍 I love it too, my favorite soda is coke zero though.

Looking forward to getting to know you all. Is there a way to set the fitbit charge 3 for rehab. I was walking 3-4 miles a day before the knee surgery and now it looks like I am not doing anything

New Fitbit user here...like many got my Versa 2 for Christmas. Been wanting one for a while now to track sleep and fitness, just never really pulled the trigger. Always found other things to be a greater priority. But here I am.
Two years ago my doc was throwing around the diabetes word. I wasn't there yet, but between that and other health issues that accompany diabetes, I was scared enough into doing something about it. So I went on a diet that worked for me and lost 70 pounds. Since the I have been tweaking my diet and exercise to try to optimize my health. Some things work, while other things don't. Nothing like trial and error to figure it all out...right? November and December I tend to be more relaxed in in the diet and exercise areas. During those two months in 2018 I gained about 20 pounds, but was able to shed them after the holidays. This is year I have gained about 25 pounds. So it is time to get back on track and maybe realize I can't go completely off the wagon next year.
I live in Southern Louisiana where all the food is good...I mean all the food! So there is an obstacle already. Early in 2019 I started having lower back issues. I tried Physical Therapy, yoga, and some other things...but found what works best is weight training. So I have been doing some full body high rep strength classes at a local YMCA I attend. I fully understand that I NEED to implement more cardio in my routine. I am not big on running, but I don't mind biking and spin classes sometimes.
I know everyone wants to looses weight and look good. Yeah, I guess those are health goals of mine. But more importantly, I want to lower my blood pressure, lower my resting heart rate, improve and maintain certain bio/health markers of mine, and stave off inflammatory diseases that occur as we all get older. In short...I want to live a long life that is free of pain.
Okay...I have bored you all enough. Looking forward to getting back into the swing of things and hopefully these forums will provide support.
Thanks for reading!

Hi I'm Irene and I do nordic walking and dog walking. Since I bought my Inspire HR in April I have walked 856 miles. I intend doing a 1000 mile challenge in 2020. Does my mileage of 856 nclude daily steps or is this the mileage I have done in exercise walks ie dog walk or hikes and walks to the shop.

1. The Taylor Ham State....
2. Weight control and moving/exercising more
3. Walking/stepper - need to break out the ole Jane Fonda routines. 😉
4. I get motivated by watching others, their results, and knowing others are trying, too.
5. Guilty pleasure: pizza and The Mandalorian go well together.
