Did you mean:

You know you're a Fitbit addict when...

  • You pace the house to get to a particular figure before going to bed
  • You sit down when recharging as you don't want to 'waste' any steps
  • You park further away from the shops to gain extra steps

I've only had my fitbit for a week now and I'm already an addict! I'm always trying to make sure I get my steps or active minutes in each day. Also so far this has been the only app that has kept me into calorie counting.

Yes I am also a fit-bit addict....I park at least 1km away from the office and walk to make up my steps. When I have meetings in town, I park at a train station and walk in town to attend meetings. I try and reach my target everyday, even weekends!

And, go to the gym on my "off" day to be sure I close the green circles. hahaha

I am truly addicted too.

I too have a desk job, but now that I have my Fitbit, I too park further away, take the long way and have found lots of ways to get in my steps. The moment I realized my Fitbit addiction was the night I was short in reaching my step goal, I walked laps in the house room to room. Reached the goal and keep moving forward.

Just got fibit for a week, I am officially addict to it and I love this addition. I am IT lady and spend most of hours before computer without moving. Now after I put on fibit, I tried to move around as possible, for example, go downstair cafeteria to have lunch, take a afternoon break and walk, I never take break before :), walk after dinner, I am thining walks all the times and try hard to commit the 10000 steps, that is fun and it is for sure that fitbit definately will change my inactive lifestyle to help me keep in shape.

The other day, I saw that I had not met my goal of calorties, steps, or mileage for that day, so I got my lazy @ss off the couch, dressed in my exercise clothes, and went walking at around 9 PM.  Kept walking along our neighborhood hilly streets until I had an additional 2 miles in.

Just climbed Mt. Norman in Victoria Australia. Before my fitbit I couldn't have considered that walk. It was not a walk in the park but I did it.

Did my first short triathlon today, but only tracked the run...so going for a walk to get the rest of my steps. My brain is broken.
Best Answer
Good lord how many steps are your goal? Surely a short triathlon uses thousands of steps.
I hiked a mountain and used up my steps twice.

Grateful to have found WiiFit free step. It has helped me reached goal on many evenings when I realize I'm a little short.

12k. With my daily commute, that's just enough to make me work for it. Wore the fitbit for the run (no ride, no swim). It was a mini sprint tri too. But you'd think my brain would let me off the hook.

You're half an hour from home on your way to meet someone when you realize that you aren't wearing your fitbit Zip, and you spend the next 10 miles seriously considering going back to get it. At that point the only thing that stops you is remembering that you can keep strict track of walking time/speed/distance and add it in manually.

Add to that the fact that when you get home and can't immediately find the fitbit (which was still attached to your pajamas), you enlist your husband to help search for it.

My name is Rae, and I'm a fitbit addict. However, I have no desire to change.
