Did you mean:

You know you're a Fitbit addict when...

  • You pace the house to get to a particular figure before going to bed
  • You sit down when recharging as you don't want to 'waste' any steps
  • You park further away from the shops to gain extra steps

I always "pace" while I'm on the phone. Also when I need something at the grocery store, I'll go up and down from the farthest away first, then repeat. It adds steps!

I am quickly becoming 'addicted'...today I left for work and realized I forgot my fitbit when I was about a mile from home. Of course I had to go back and get it, so I could log my treadmill walk on lunch break at work! :).....

I feel frustrated because I need to take my One off to shower...LOL!  I still find myself dancing/walking in place to get steps and realize it doesn't count 😞

@tcmom  I do the same thing when my Flex is charging!

Welcome to the forums, fellow addict!

Wait until you find yourself walking all around the grocery store to get a loaf of bread and take the long way around, just to get in more steps.

Addicted and glad of it!

You do steps while watching TV

Your work breaks consist of walking all the floors and stairs in your building

You march while running the food processor

You circle the store several times, verifying prices, of course....

The battery in you car goes dead from lack of use

It's spring and the weather is getting warmer. So people are wearing short sleeves and I find myself looking at their wrists to see if they are wearing a FitBit!

Today I saw a pink one on a woman's right hand.

Ohhhhhh, we're are everywhere!

Yes the coloured bands are so cool!
I told my hubby the Easyer bunny could skip the eggs and get me a set of flex bands instead!
Be nice to add some colour to my steps!
Every journey starts with a single step
- or 10,000 if you own a fitbit!

My son works at a Target store here in the Denver area and he calls me when the new bands come in (Target carries the Flex) but I want the new Navy and Violet and they sold out as fast as they came in! He's going to hide a Violet for me with the next order! It's spring and time to get out the summer clothes and BANDS! YAY!

@nmowell  My Target finally has the three pack of bands, after I bought them at Bet Buy.

What a good son you've raised. Mother's Day - remind him!

Hahahahaha, Tonight, after we got home from walking 3.0 miles at the mall....my husband dropped me off at the start of our .15 mile driveway so I could get to my goal of 25K for the day!  Awesome.  So glad he is supportive.

You know you're a fitbit addict when...

You push the shopping cart at the store with one hand so the other is free to count steps.

The other day I was in Target where a guy was close to the FitBits. He was tapping at his left wrist. I immediately thought he was checking his Flex. Slowly, I inched closer to him to see. He was too busy to notice, but the Target girl was watching me watching the guy. Close enough now to see what he was tapping and it was his watch! I shook my head and inched my way back to look at the three pack of bands at the FitBit display. Sadness.....I was hoping to find another addict. Instead I found a guy hitting his watch.

It's Sunday night (or Saturday if that is your setting) and you pace around the room to squeeze in as many steps as possible before midnight in a desperate attempt to improve your weekly report.

Your honor I plead Guilty on all charges, with an excuse...

I have 3 USB charging ports in my car, one for the phone and one for my FitBit.

So I only charge while I am driving.
