I'm thiniking of upgrading to the Fitbit One so I can do individual start and stop metric information recording of walking or recumbent bike exercising. I've heard the new Charge is having issues, so I'll stay away from the Surge HR and Charge HR when they come out until they're well past the new version blues phase.
I'll probably get my wife a Charge HR when it's not so buggy.
Our Fitbit Zips have been useful, but we'r looking for more...Guess that makes us even more addicted, right?

Thought I was the only one (do you realize how many house laps 700 steps is???)

I admit it .............. I'm addicted to my FitBit Flex. Yesterday, while it was charging, I went out for a "bit" and kept checking my wrist for it ...... felt annoyed that it was at home while I was out doing my steps. Felt even more annoyed that I couldn't record those steps. I'm so addicted, I went out and bought some more wristbands so I could vary my colours (even if don't always match what I'm wearing; just love that flash of colour). I'm showing my Flex off to everyone and telling them to get FITBIT too --- love to see the flashing lights and feel the vibration when I've accomplished my steps/goals. Great thing to be addicted to --- no weight gain (I hope); no health risks etc --- it's all good.

Just focus on getting the next day in and not getting derailed. My daily goal is 14250 which translates to 100k per week. I tried for a 30 day streak and blew it at 9 days straight. Redoubling efforts now. to not lose momentum. I would be thrilled to have only one slight miss in 30 days for the minimium! Keep up the good work!

The moment you realize you've lost your charging cable and you can't buy a new one in a retail store or find anyone who uses the charging cable to borrow from so you can't sleep peacefully knowing your Fitbit will die before it can be recharged and you will have to forfit challenges and miss valueable steps being counted while you wait for your charging cable to come in the mail that you ordered online at 5am because you still couldn't sleep and you order 2 charging cables and an extra dongle to ensure this NEVER happens again.
So yeah in the few short weeks I've had my Fitbit Charge I have become obsessed with my progress and tracking. So anyone in Cobb Co GA with a Fitbit wanna let me borrow their charging cable for a few hours I'd appreciate it.... LOL

You know you're addicted to ftibit when ... you've never lost one.
Lot's of people would lose their heads if they weren't screwed on. "Fitty", my fitbit one, and I are joined at the hip, so to say.

On vacation I dropped mine and it fell between the house foundation and the cement stairs. People laughed at me when I set up my laptop to try and get one final sync before I had my wife drive out to the store to buy a replacement. Totally screwed up that days vacation plans but I wasn't moving until I had a fitbit. They said I was like a crack addict while I was separated from my fitbit.
Also - you know you are an addict when as a married person you find you wear a fitbit more often than a wedding band.

...you stop your lifetime habit of going up and down steps two at a time because it means less steps/flights of stairs....
...you obsess about a day you missed 6 months later, because guestimating and manually recording the steps is not. the. same.
