I took an hour walk and my activity minutes are still "0". Anyone else having this problem?

In the app, tap the + button, choose "Track Exercise," tap the Log tab, then in the search box at the top type Walk, choose the option that comes up, then indicate your starting time and duration.
For more on active minutes, see the very helpful comments by @Colinm39 in this thread that I started.
It showed me how to check if my perceptions of how fast I had walked are accurate.
On the other hand, it is of course possible that there is a bug of some sort.

That is frustrating. The same thing happened to me when I hurt my foot and was walking slower than normal.
Did you walk fast enough for your steps to register as active minutes? Do you know how far you traveled during that hour? How many steps did you take? If you log the time as "Walk" in the app, does it then show active minutes?

I did walk the same speed, if not faster, than I normally do. How do you manually log active minutes as "walk" ?

The minutes are also not tracking for me. I've walked at least 4 miles every day this week and have tracked only 10 minutes. Either I am getting really fast or there is a bug in the system. Is Fitbit looking into this? It seems that there are many of us who have this problem.

For over a month now I have not seen my "Steps" posted on my iPhone app. I did try your solution, however there steps still does not show up.
On my iPhone I've gone to the upper right icon which, when tapped, shows "Account." Further down is "Goals" and under goals is "Activity". My "Daily Activity" shows Steps, Distance, Calories Burned, active Minutes, and Floors Climbed.
My screenshots are included, but the Daily Steps doesn't show up.
Community Monitors have not been helpful, either.

@JohnnCon I hope you're doing well! Thanks for sharing the screen shots showing the situation you are experiencing with the Fitbit app not showing your steps. Also, thank you for sharing all of those details regarding this.
In this case, I believe the step tile is hidden on your dashboard. Please try the following to get it back:
Please note that you must have iOS 9 or greater installed on your iPhone to edit your dashboard. If you don't have that version, please update.
Hope this helps. Keep me posted!

Why the step tile should have gotten hidden is beyond me. However your
directions were spot on. For them, thanks.

@JohnnCon Thanks for your reply and for trying the steps provided on my post above.
I'm really glad to read that the steps provided helped you out to get the step tile back. If you happen to see if any tile is missing from your app's dashboard; please try those steps again to get it back!
