Another Fitbit One not syncing problem

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Both me and my wife have Fitbit 1's. We both have nexus phones. After the last update, neither Fitbit's will sync regularly. I have gone through the steps list in the help section about Nexus phones. I can reboot my phone and Fitbit and it will sync. Then the next day, nothing. It's not worth the hassle to do this every day? I also have a windows 10 PC and the same thing occurs. I have to reboot the Fitbit before it will connect. My wifes Fitbit is not as bad. She can try to sync and it fails multiple times. Then an hour or so later it will sync. Her's will go a day without syncing. Mine has gone 3 days without syncing. Like I said, we never had an issue until a couple of months when the app updated on the phones. Any suggestions?

Hi @PlanePilot welcome to the Community! Smiley Happy I'm sorry to hear about the syncing issues that you are getting with your Fitbit One. For what you are telling me, you have tried most of the steps on the help site. However, I would like to know if you already tried to reboot just the Fitbit One by following the steps on @13Odyssey's post. If so, and your tracker still not syncing, then I suggest you to get in touch with Fitbit Support directly so they can further investigate what is happening with your tracker and take a look of your options under warranty.

Let me know how it goes!

It's great to see that you've visited the Fitbit Community @PlanePilot! I hope you're doing great!

Let me help you out, the first step that I'd tried is the restart if the issue persists you can also try the following troubleshooting steps listed on this article.

Hope it helps :).

I have been through all those steps and it temporary. Like I said in my first post, it's not worth the hassle to do those steps every time you want to sync. I did got into my Fitbit app and force stop it to clear out the memory. It has been a day and I have not had to restart the Fitbit to get it to sync but I do have to manually hit the sync button to get the process started. I just wish it would sync periodically throughout the day like it use to. It's hard to keep up with challenges when it looks like I'm lagging behind only to jump ahead at the end of the day when I have 5-10 to play with it to sync!!
