Bring back the Fitbit One

Is anyone at Fitbit actually looking at all the posts I have read here?  Unfortunately my One's battery life is dying so I probably need a new one.  I am with many of you, I don't want a wrist wearing tracker

!!!!!! I love my One and want another one but am not going to pay the $300.00 plus that I am seeing for a new one.  This tracker is great because it can be very discreet and works better than the wrist wearable options (compared to my husband's version).  I love the fact that it gives you the number of flights climbed.  This comes in handy when I am hiking in the mountains or when I take the stairs when I am on business at a hotel.   Please someone pay attention to those of us that are begging for another Fitbit One that we can afford.

Hello @JBWinans  yes Fitbit is aware that many of the One people really love their One. Unfortunately, when a style is retired, it doesn't return. The only Fitbit now that has an optional clip is the Inspire - click to see - and it doesn't have an altimeter,so you can't count flights of stairs.

I stupidly ran my One through the laundry this week. I'm hoping that Google will be more responsive to customer needs/wants than the current owners seem to be. The prices of new and used Ones on eBay and Amazon would seem to indicate a market for something besides wrist-based trackers?

Fitbit sells the inspire which has the option to wear as a clip.

Once your one dries out it should be good, but it might take a couple of months to dry out.

I agree.  I don't ever want to have my device be visible to others when I am wearing it, which is 24 hours a day!

Many companies bring back styles, it seems odd to me that Fitbit has continued to ignore its own customers in this, surely they have done market research and seen the premium that people are willing to pay for this style.

Unfortunately the Inspire is not a replacement for the One.   It doesn't count stairs and importantly has a square design that shows in the pocket or bra - the rounded One was discreet with the rounded corners, slender design and it helps you track steps, stairs and sleep - no cut down on features which was a really odd choice of Fitbit to do with the Inspire anyways.

Not sure if Google can influence the product people but can only hope that Fitbit can find a place to bring back the One ... perhaps as a One Classic or One Pocket.... in future releases!

There finally may be hope for us as Fitbit has ignored us in providing a replacement for the One.  Fitbit is being sold to Google.  Maybe they will get on board and provide us what we are looking for.

My Apple Watch counts steps AND flights of stairs, so I no longer need a FitBit - although I’d have kept a One if it had been supported. FitBit’s loss.

That's happened to me a few times. The rice method worked 3 X for me.

Just fill a container (that is at least 4 inches deep with rice(I used white) and burrow it down deep until its buried. Leave it sit 24 to 48 hours.)

That should do it.

If not then I've picked replacements up on eBay etc etc

Good luck to you!!
