My one went through the wash.  My husband is giving me his, but I can't figure out how to make it work with my existing dashboard.  Do I need to start a whole new profile and use his name or what?

Also he needs to sync to his page before he turns it over. And then he should remove it from hos page as well

And remove it from Bluetooth on his phone

First remove the One from your existing account. Its under settings then scroll to the bottom and remove the device

Here is how to set up a replacement tracker:

Also if there are any other fitbits around remove them from the room as they interfere with each other

I got it!  My internet was down for a couple days, so I've just been able to get your message and try it out.  Your suggestion to have my husband drop his account was very helpful.  I struggled a little because mine is an old dashboard so things didn't match up exactly to the steps to follow, but it all came out.  Thanks for your help.
