Hi, @Lynne54! All that needs to be done is to delete it from the first account and add it to a new account. Just note that if it's been used on the day it's transferred, the first user's steps for that day will be included on the new account.

I bought a used One and have no access to contact w former owner. How can I get the used device added to my account?

Open your fitbit app up and set the One up as a new device. At this time it will be removed from the old account, if they haven't done this yet. 

 

I leave the trackers connected when I give them to my relatives. This way I get confirmation that they where able to set the tracker up.
