when i try to upgrade my ONE i always get an error message "Something went wrong. There was an error while trying to update your device".

 

My one is connected by Bluetooth to my iPhone.  I have an internet connection.

This is a very old device. If it is working, just ignore the update notification and use it as is.

Same here, never worked for me. I just disregard the message to upgrade. Everything on my One works fine as it is, so no need to upgrade.
