Fit Bit One

I have been having tons of trouble with the one since the app was updated. Data is not being tracked accurately, has shown a different time on the one than the time zone I have selected, and it will freeze. I have on several occasions had to connect to the computer and reset it. Now it won't track my steps continuously throughout the day. I walked 8 km today and when I checked my Fitbit it had logged 2000 steps? Last week on two different days it logged 0 steps for the entire day. I have had this for over a year and have never had one bit of trouble with it until now. I am wondering what the life span are on these divices and if I am needing a new one. Or better yet I would like to know if there is anything else I can do to get this device back working again. Thank you for your time.

I'd recommend doing the following:

  • Log out of your Fitbit App
  • Force quit the App
  • Restart your One at least three times in a row 
  • Turn off the Bluetooth
  • Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes
  • Turn on the Bluetooth
  • Log back into your Fitbit App
