Fit bit not resetting at midnight?

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

So my fit bit did not reset at midnight- it shows steps and other data from yesterday and steps since midnight. I don't know how to fix this- the fitbit dashboard online shows the inorrect total steps but clearly the graph shows steps only since midnight. Syncing to my phone isn't helping either.

Hi there @southerncharm and @ejh5.

If the dashboard on line is correct, it looks to me like the dashboard on your phone is oudated. Have you tried forcing a sync on the phone? Or perhaps turning Bluetooth off and bank on again?

I've tried that too- the tracker itself shows the incorrect number of steps. It shows the steps from yesterday and steps I have taken so far today. So it's the totally number that doesn't make sense. When I look at the hour by hour graph of my steps clearly the numbers don't match up! So it's a little complicated and confusing!

Update- I emailed fibit support and they noticed it didn't reset. They advised me to reset my tracker but when I went to do that my tracker data was corrected! This isn't much of a solution for anyone else with this problem but the support team was great!

Hi @southerncharm. Errouneous time display issues are usually tied to your time zone settings. Have you checked your time zone? Remember to save your change and force a sync if you change it, otherwise the change won't stick.

Please click here and scroll down to the Time header

Hope this helps. Have a nice day.
