FitBit One has stopped reliably tracking

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

In the past few weeks, my One has gotten more and more unreliable (side-by-side with an Endomondo Track and Apple Health it was somewhere between 35 and 50% off).  Now today it has tracked 643 steps (in the 2.45 miles I've walked) and won't go any further.

I've rechecked my stride length, and reset via USB the One.  No Love.

Anyone have any ideas what I can do?  Steph from FitBit Support actually told me I would have better luck here than anything she could tell me.....

@UnclTrvlngMatt Welcome to the Fitbit family! Thanks for trying those troubleshooting steps with customer support. The Fitbit Community is great indeed! Smiley Very Happy

The next step here will be to set up your tracker as a replacement device. This should reset its inner components and it should work properly afterwards. This has helped other users in the past.

Try that out and let me know how it goes! Smiley Happy

Thanks for the suggestion, but I had already tried that before posting in about the issue; sorry that’s not a solution and didn’t help.
