I have read the methods to get the Fitbit One back into sync with the app and they generally work but the Fitbit One continually loses sync with my mobile phone (Samsung S7) app about once every 7 - 10 days. Isn't there something I can do to prevent the Fitbit One from losing sync semi-regularly? The re-syncing process is kinda long and tedious. My other bluetooth devices don't seem to have this type of problem as often.

@allencoleman46 Seems odd that your One stops syncing with your phone constantly. I would like to follow up and would like to know if the issue persists or if your One is syncing properly now. In the meantime, please let me know what troubleshooting steps you have tried so I can assist you accordingly in order to help you to avoid this issue.
Looking forward to your response my friend!

Fitbit continues to lose sync with App. I always follow the procedure from your website and eventually I can re-establish sync (sometimes after multiple attempts). It would be nice if Fitbit would come out with an updated One or Zip that included a modernized updated bluetooth that was reliable.

@allencoleman46 I'm sorry to hear that your Fitbit One is still experiencing the syncing issue. I appreciate your feedback about an update of the Fitbit One or Zip. This type of feedback helps us to keep improving.
Don't hesitate to get back if your One stops syncing and I'll be happy to follow up!

The following procedure has usually re-established sync after one or two three tries for me.
1. Log out of your fitbit account
2. Turn off your phone's Bluetooth
3. Turn your phone completely off, wait 60 seconds, and turn back on.
4. Put your Fitbit One in the charger and hold the button down for exactly 15 seconds. After 15 seconds take fitbit off the charger (your fitbit should not come on).
5. Turn on fitbit by pressing button until characters appear.
6. Turn on phone's Bluetooth
7. Sign in to fitbit app. Fitbit One and phone should re-sync
Step 3 above is not always necessary but is occasionally necessary so I always include it.
This whole re-sync process is a royal pain. I wish Fitbit would offer a non-wrist based tracker that would reliably sync. I have owned multiple Fitbit One's and all of them have lost sync at least once per month. I have been told by Fitbit representatives that the Fitbit Zip has the same Bluetooth connectivity so it is not a possible solution. I love the Fitbit app and its connectivity to MyFitnessPal but ...
