I noticed a bunch of people having issues with their FitBit One not syncing, which is why I came on here.
I called customer support and he had me just plug it into the charger, hold the button for 10-12 seconds to shut it off, turned it back on and everything re-transmitted.
I just did the recent iOS update AND updated the FitBit app so he recommended if it happens again just try a cold restart.
Not sure if it could really be just that easy for everyone but thought I would share.

Thank you for sharing @kristin418!
The restart is what they suggest initially for every problem, and I know a lot of us have tried it already. Will you let us know if you have the same problem tomorrow? There seems to be a lot of evidence that the problem is with the app logging people but not saying we're logged out, so it looks like devices won't sync. It seems to be doing it about once a day, and I have found that closing and reopening the app is as effective as restarting the One, and much easier.

Despite the recent claims in the support forum, the last update of the IOS app didn't resolve my sync/battery drain problem (that weren't present before the August app updates).
I'll try yet another One reboot to have an additional try

Hi Janel,
As a follow-up, mine is still working perfectly this morning. It was fully charged yesterday afternoon and I shut off my phone overnight to charge it and everything is still synched up.

@kristin418 Thanks for your helpful thread, it's appreciated!
@phv, unfortunately, the charging issue is still being reported. I created this post here and will update when I hear more.
Nice to see you around @SunsetRunner!
