I did an update to Fitbit One Firmware 6.64 per the instruction of Fitbit due to an error I was having turning the fitbit on. After I did the update, the fitbit will not turn on at all. Occasionally when I connect it to the charger, it will say 6.64 and show a full battery level, but every time I take if off the charger it will not even turn on at all. I have tried the reset process and endless amount of times and off the charger it will never turn on and it will only turn on occasionally on the charger. I followed the instruction of fitbit and totally deleted the application, created a new profile and started from zero, which they advised me to do to ensure I have the most updated firmware. Well, after that the device will not work at all and I cannot get anywhere with customer support who advised me to follow their process. Anyone with any suggestions would greatly be appreciated.

I was not able to fix it. I contacted Fitbit and they were unable to correct the hardware failure either. Their Awesome customer service department did a great job walking me through the diagnosis and eventually sent me a new Fitbit because it was under warranty. I would definitely give them a call.

my fit was working perfectly until 6.64.
a) how can I install the old firmware that worked?
b) how can I reset my One so it will work?
my symptoms are identical to
https://community.fitbit.com/t5/One/Fitbit-One-Will-Not-Turn-On/td-p/2566778
this is CLEARLY a problem with your firmware
1) do you have a engineering fix? AKA ask the engineers how this was broken and how to fix it?
2) IF NOT, please provide me with contact to reach your lawyers ... you intentionally broke my working device, this is illegal
IF you cant fix this, I have to assume that your products will always be disabled by you in the future.
Time to find any other supplier.
thanks for posting LINKS HERE on how to trouble shoot this problem
so the 1000s of other with the same problem wont have to call the help desk.
dear FITBIT
please post ALL of the steps to fix this problem HERE, in the threads
so we can FIND THEM
please dont make us ALL contact support ... that is INSANE
you intentionally broke our fitbits to force us to buy new products?
that is illegal

@last_chanceThe problems to solve it could be different.
I'm sure they didn't break it to force you to buy another one either.
So contact support and see what they can do for you

@Lyndskirby82 Welcome to the Fitbit forums! Thanks for taking the time to share the experience you have had with One after updating it.
In this case, I'd recommend performing a restart on your One. This has helped other users in the past.
Try that out and let me know how it goes!

There are some days where my One will show a full charge, i can get 1-2,000 steps out of it before it dies, and other days like today where my One shows a full charge when it is in the charger, but will not turn on when I unplug it. I have tried cleaning the contacts and doing a reset. Anyone have any other suggestions? My One is about 3 years old and the one I had before that was about 4 years old and never had any of these issues.

Help, this is exactly what has happened to me. After the update nothing works after removing my One from the charging cable. When plugged in I can press the button and it shows that I have a fully charged battery but when removing it from the cable everything is blank. HELP, I miss by Fitbit.
