Fitbit One battery replacement

Is the battery on the Fitbit One replaceable?  I have an excellent condition Fitbit One but one day suddenly it stopped.powering on.  I prefer the One over the wristband style ones and would prefer to repair rather than replace.

@Roni28 , unfortunately the Fitbit One battery is not replaceable.  As it has been discontinued now for several years, it sounds like your One has done splendid service...

Fitbit does have a newer model, the Inspire, which can be worn either on the wrist or in a clip, like the One.  You might want to have a look at that model, as you prefer a clip device.

@Roni28 -- if you are feeling adventurous you might try buying a third-party battery.  I searched on eBay for "Fitbit One battery" and saw a couple of battery kits -- including opening tools -- for $12-$15.  I've not tried it, but might if my trusty One dies.

I can't find any information that says if the Inspire tracks Stairs. I do many flights of stairs a day and need to track that. I could care less about heart rate and tracking female things. Steps, stairs and sleep are all I care about.

My wife has an Inspire and I can confirm that it does not track stairs.

@gwladysddu — Fitbit no longer makes a clip-based device that tracks stairs.  The Charge 3 would be an alternative, but it is wrist-based.

You don't actually have to wear it on your wrist.  I was forced up to a Blaze after my One died, and I wear it in a pocket.  just disable everything associated with the screen and you'll be good.  Sadly it only has maybe 5 days of battery life, unlike the almost 2 weeks we used to get on the One, but what can you do.
