I have had a Fitbit one for a number of years now, but lately it just doesn't seem to calculate distance correctly no matter how I adjust the stride length in my running.
Today I ran 10km ( The GPS on my Polar watch gave me the correct distance) yet my steps read 7182 steps at a distance of only 5.22km.
How on earth do I fix this, it is getting a little annoying. My running stride length is set at 118.2 cm not sure the average for 5'8" male.
Please help me understand.
Thanks

Could it be that your pace has reduced lately and for some of your steps fitbit is using your walking stride length?

Don't think that is it, as my pace is standard. If I take out the actual centimetres for running then it is just as bad on the Fitbit standard they enter.
