Fitbit One counting too many steps

When i get up i put it on, i have 2000 steps and i did't walk this.

When i sit down and move it go up.

what is wrong?

Where are you wearing it?

 

Try doing a restart.

Do it at least 3 times.

Also is it in a room with a fan going on? As this can cause it to add steps.

On my bra, like always.

I restart a several times, and now it's ok, but is is the third time this
happens.

I put it on my wres to sleep

But is there a fan going on in the room you sleep? Or do you move alot? As that will add steps.

@Kat69 have you contacted our Support Team just like @WendyB suggested? They definitely have the proper tools to take a deeper look into your tracker's behavior. Also, mention them all the troubleshooting steps you've performed to fix this.
