I've had several Fitbit Ones over the years and when I went to replace my current one I find that it is no longer available. The Fitbit company should know that not everyone wants to wear their tracking device on their wrist! I liked the discreet nature of the Fitbit One. Now you are forcing me to buy something I have to wear on my wrist so that I can advertise your product. Well sorry, that is not happening. You have lost a customer. Bad move, Fitbit.

Hi, @ReviewX! I agree, Fitbit should develop a new clip-on tracker, but I would suggest you check out the Fitbit Inspire, which does have clip-on functionality.

Does the wristband come off? How does it clip? I watched the video and it looked like a regular wristband.

Yes, much like the other wristband based trackers, the band is completely removable and you can switch it out for the clip-on.

Thanks. They should make that more clear in the photos and video!

I want a clip on replacement for the Fitbit One. The Zip is a piece of crap. It consumes batteries by the bushels.
I don't want a tracker to wear on my wrist. Why would I take off a $10,000 Rolex that I have been wearing for 37 years to wear a piece of plastic with a battery and chip that might last a year or two? Any suggestions?

@TNLarry I agree! I used to just keep the Fitbit One in my pocket.
And I have looked at all the promos for the Inspire and I don't see anything about it coming with a clip or removing the wristband.

Thanks I'm glad I checked and did not order the HR version as the clip doesn't work with that.

I want to add that I've had a Fitbit One for years and prefer it to the Alta wristband, which I decided to try out. But I dislike it and agree with others who don't like wearing a plastic band. The Fitbit One counts stairs, which is important to me and I don't think any of the other products include that. Bad move, Fitbit. I can't get mine to sync now so am wondering if that's a way of telling me to give it up. 😞

New, used, and non-working Fitbit Ones can be found on eBay.

Fitbit no longer supports the One and you can’t synch it. I wasn’t even able to charge mine.

Thanks, ReveiwX, for the bad news. Am not surprised but very unhappy. 😞 Mine is working fine and charging but I just can't get it to sync.

@kleilani Anytime my One (or any FB tracker) doesn't sync, I turn OFF Bluetooth on the phone and hit sync, which prompts to turn on Bluetooth. This has worked on multiple phones and tablets for me, hopefully, it works for you. I'm using my upgraded One right now. Cheers!

Agree 100% with ReviewX. I have been a loyal Fitbit customer for many years. I like the discreet clip-on device. I don't want to wear a watch band. I loved my One, but it started to become inconsistent. So I bought the Inspire. Yes, it can be a clip-on, but what I did not realize is that it does not track stairs, and that was very important to me. Also, the text size on the device is SO TINY. Come on, Fitbit, you do have customers whose eyeballs are over 40 years old!!!! I have started researching other fitness trackers.

Thanks, @Williger. I tried your suggestion but no luck. I think I've tried all the suggestions on the Help pages! Will just use my One until it dies.

I agree 100%. I don't want a watch, my SIL has a fitbit watch that does not count steps while pushing a shopping cart. That would take off thousands of steps from my goal. I don't want the zip because the battery does not last and the case gets ruined every time you try to change it. The inspire doesn't count stairs, and the clip is extra. I asked if the insipre HR fit in the clip so I could use the clip when I go shopping, but they said no because some features wouldn't work. I know that. Perhaps someone here could answer these 2 simple questions:
1. does the inspire HR fit in the inspire clip? yes or no
(I know some features wouldn't work.)
2. would the inspire HR count steps accurately if worn on the torso or belt ? yes or no
I would really prefer a clip on for the torso. I think there are more than enough watches on the market.
