I only sync on my computer (Windows 7 Home Premium), I do not use a phone.
A while ago my Fitbit One stopped syncing (I did all the recommendations of unistall, reinstall, restarting the FitBit numerous times) & it became very frustrating, then suddenly it started syncing automatically (I think FitBit did something) but I could not force the sync. I have lived with not being able to force the sync for months now & just carried on, but as of yesterday at 16:19 Fitbit stopped syncing automatically again! Why oh why do I carry on using FitBit, can anyone aswer me lol

I have sent the following email to fitbit:
I hope you are working on the auto sync issue that seems have have started around 10/23 or 10/24. There are many of us with Ones that are filling pages in the community forum as well as others across fitbit platforms that are experiencing this problem. In addition, the problem crosses operating system platforms so it isn't just affecting those of us using Windows 7. Even the manual sync is an issue in that many of us are reporting that we literally have to touch our fitbit to the dongle in order for it to be close enough to manually sync. I've also heard that you no longer support Windows 7. That is unfortunate since a large number of us still use that operating system and can't or don't want to upgrade to Windows 8 or 10 for various reasons. We will no longer be able to use your product when you stop paying attention to Windows 7 users.

Well, I'm happy to know that I'm not alone with this problem... I was begining to think It was something I messed up. I'm not good with this tech stuff?
I did buy an Aria scale and have been trying to get it completely setup for the the last 3 weeks. It shows on my Dashboard along with some charts etc. But when I step on the scale to weigh myself it keeps telling me to set up on my PC?
I thought maybe the scale was messing up my steps syncing. Now I don't know what to do??? Very frustrating!

I was just thinking... How can Fitbit send us a correct weekly report if our trackers are not synching the way they should?
Since my Doctor has me on a strict diet and exercise routine, I have been taking those Fitbit reports to show my Doctor what I've been doing!

Been a Fitbit user since 2012, and am having the same issue. I can manually force a sync with the system tray icon, but my One is no longer auto-synching with my desktop PC (Windows 7 Home Premium.) It's disheartening to see so many with this problem, and nothing being done by Fitbit to solve it.

After earlier troubles syncing, it was working okay for the past several months, until last week. For the last several days, I have to uninstall and reinstall the fitbit set up every morning in order to sync. This happened on 2 different PCs, one with Windows 8 and the other with Windows 10. What is going on? This is very frustrating.

I never joined the step up group so it's not us belonging or not belonging to it but it must be soemtlhing in the software would someone call and suggest that to them?
i just had a very unsatisfactory call to them. they are working on it. i told him it was poor customer service for someone not to come on here and tell us they know about it and what they think it is. also told him that some of us are using the reports for doctors to monitor us. I forgot about the step up program or i would have mentioned it to him. so everyone call and be a pain. right now there was no waiting time.
oh and he did say there were people monitoring the boards. I said we don't know that because they haven't said anything.

I called this morning but forgot about the step up program, so I live chatted and mentioned that to them. I also told the guy I talked to that I was thinking of getting the HR but wouldn't because of this problem, so they are losing business. maybe it will make sense to someone.
they are supposedly monitoring these boards so i told them we need someone to come on and tell us what they are doing. we'll see

Almost 100 people have posted to the thread about Fitbit One not synching since 10/24/16. No Moderators have posted to this thread with any guidance or advice. Tech support via phone and e-mail have provided no answers either (see all the posts that say that in that thread). People are angry, frustrated, and disappointed with this awesome product that's not feeling so awesome since the 24th. Why not just come out and say, "There IS a problem and we're working on it." ?

And now, I've lost the ability to force sync! Way to make it worse, Fitbit!

To add to the mystery, when my device will sync at all (both phone + computer), it syncs the calories burned, but not steps. I think the entire system has ingested a bad batch of drugs and is now clinically insane. (I'm sorry, that was probably too technical.)
Anyway, grrrrr.
P.S. Why is my post labeled "spoiler"? ON CRAZY DRUGS, I tell ya.

Hi everyone - thanks for providing us with some details about the recent syncing difficulty. Our team is investigating the issue, and we will provide further information in this thread. Hopefully we'll have everyone syncing normally again very soon!

My Fitbit One has not automatically synced to my computer in over a week. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the Connect software and restarted the Fitbit. It still will not sync to the computer. When I try to force it to sync it almost always fails. Once in a while it will actually sync this way. I have no idea what happened. It used to automatically sync all the time on its own. It syncs to my phone just fine though. I contected Fitbit support and they are sending me a new One. I'm not convinced that this is going to solve the problem though, but we'll see when the new One arrives. Last time this happened, I had to remove the Connect software and reinstall it and everything went back to normal. The fact that so many of us are having issues leads me to think that there is a software problem on Fitbit's side.

It sounds like the core issue here is syncing through the Fitbit Connect software. Within that software, there is a big button that says "Sync Now" - can someone tell me specifically what error or unexpected behavior they encounter after clicking that button?
Thanks for the assistance with this - details are really helpful.
