Fitbit One not syncing anymore (rest seems to work fine)

Hi,

my fitbit one isn't syncing anymore since last friday april 23. Everything else seems to work fine. I can charge it no problem, it is showing steps and all that.

I have a pc with fitbit connect, and it doesn't sync, but neither does it sync to my iPad and iPhone, which used to work fine (until apparently last friday) (I of course know about the need of BT etc... being enabled).

I have been on a holiday from sunday until now (wednesday evening), and I have walked a lot (and beat my previous step records), so if I have to restart the fitbit one (as read in another topic), does that delete the data that hasn't been synced so far?

My fitbit has stopped syncing since yesterday.  I have tried everything they suggest on website.  After seeing all of the other replies, it seems that Fitbit has an issue.  Has anyone heard about an update for the app?

I called customer service and they walked me through resetting the tracker and it did fix the problem.

Ok I'm back to report that NOW my tracker is synched with my Fitbit app.
After spending 30 min on phone with customer service last night. Doing all the steps. We did every step as listed in the email from customer service. I even deleted and reloaded the Fitbit app.
Customer service eventually gave up and said they will send me a new teacher, told me to recycle my old one. Well guess what? Tonight after reading everyone's posts I had to try if again. I turned off all Bluetooths in the house , forced tracker to turn off while plugged into charger, turned it back on, turned my Bluetooth back on and opened the Fitbit app. Tried "add new device" and By golly it synched!!! My activities from 4/25, 26,& 26 Mon, Tues & Wed are gone but Yesterday 4/28 and today's is there!
Now why didn't it do that last night?
So whoever said this is not our trackers problem, thus must be a problem with the Fitbit app I believe is correct.
Now why can't Fitbit just tell us the truth?
Go ahead and try exactly what I did and see if it works!
I can't believe it works... Now I can't predict what tomorrow brings😁

I feel the same way... Too many people with the FitBit Tracker, all with similar problems, within similar time frame....? After my experience with 2 on line techs and all the deleting and reloading the apps and forcing the sync... Mine seems to be working fine...

I have done what is written in this tread and as you uninstalled the APP, but stil it wont sync the bluetooth. I have removed the tracker from my phones bluetooth connections and tryed to connect again, with no result.

The FitBit One is pared with my phone, but will not connect to the APP.

 

 

Last sync: Apr 28, 2016 7:23 AM <-- why not 24hours? We do not living in the upsidedown US?

Having the same problem!!!   Last sync was Wednesday 4/20.

 

Has anyone got answer from FitBit support?  I participated in a 5K this morning and just want to see the data on my dashboard.

Finally - I called customer support and Sophia walked me through the same steps I thought I had tried on my own without success - and now it is synced - and I didn't lose any data since Monday. 39 minutes on the phone after 5 days of frustration. Thank you Sophia!

Finally!  39 minutes on the phone with Sophia in customer support and now it is synced and working and no data lost after 5 days.

Same my fitbit one synced last night at midnight and can't get it to again either by phone or computer...must be them because it is still charging and recording EVERYTHING.  Sounds suspiciously like a software issue???

Mind stopped on 3/27, but I do agree that it's seems a company problem.

To KSP - to clarify, dud you have any tracker data recorded, or had you manually entered activities and/or food, or did it just retrieve steps, floors, calories, I.e., the automatic data? I ask because mine restored the automatic data but not the others. Thanks.

As this thread is getting quite long can I just add a reminder that many of these issues (but not all) can be resolved using the restart procedure linked below:

Note that the procedure doesn't always work first time so it's worth trying a few times.

My fit bit has also not done any syncing since April 23. But every day it keeps track but will not log onto app on the I Pad any answers as to why

Well, customer service got me synced yesterday,  but this morning it is not syncing again.  I'm travelling today, so I'll try all the steps again tomorrow before I call customer service again.
