Same problem.  There seems to always be an issue with syncing.  Very frustrating!

Hi your's working yet?  I'm just experiencing that tonight.  I've used mine for almost 2 years now without any issues.

I've just had that problem with my Fitbit HR, my solution was very simple when I checked the settings on my phone, it wasn't connected to bluetooth (which should happens automatically) by simply reconnecting, everything fell back into place and synced.  I hope your solution will be as simple Cx

Me too - returning mine to the shop as I have had enough.  Have done an update on the app, reset, turned the phone on and off, turned the app on and off, turned the bluetooth on and off, held the button the charger for 10 seconds, 20 seconds and forever.  Still no go so the fitbit has to go - it has only lasted 6 months.

Mine stopped syncing this morning, but it coincides with a Fitbit app update, so something broke. I've tried everything to get it to work with no luck.

I had the same problem.
But mine went back online by the following steps :
1. Charge your fitbit
2. While charming hold the button for a few seconds (10-15 worked for mine)
3. Push the button again. This will reboot your fitbit. And it will sync again.

Reboot worked - sort of. It updated the past couple days after the restart, but todays steps are not uploading! I will try to reboot again. Ok, I am back. It took three reboots and a bit of wait time and I am caught up on days. Thanks for the steps.

What button? Have new Fitbit but already stopped syncing and keeps telling me it is looking!

First make certian you know what type of Fitbit you have. This is the Fitbit One, the one that slides into a clip-on wearable, rubberlike holder. The button is the same button that you press to run through time, steps, distance, calories burned, floors, flower. It is the only button on the One. Make sure it is properly seated in the charging holder. Press, hold, count as the directions above.

That is exactly what mine was doing. Mine is a One and very old. On the
screen I have a raised bar. That's what I pressed

Having the same issue... I've tried all the trouble shooting steps and even deleted my fitbit one from my account but now when I try to re-add it my phone/ipad can't even locate my fit bit one device despite being right next to it!

My Fitbit one stopped syncing with iPhone/iPad apps 2 days ago and a reset solved the problem. It's stopped today and reset now not working. Any other suggestions would be welcome.

Here's what worked for me when I had this same problem

1. Fully charge your One
2. Hold the button down for about 15 seconds
3. Let the button go and then depress it once again. I believe this
process will reboot your One

Good luck!

All fixed now. Text from customer support
From the Start menu go to Settings > Bluetooth. Make sure you see your tracker on the list of devices with the word “Connected” below.
If your tracker isn't connected:
Tap or click the tracker name and choose Remove Device.
Make sure your tracker is nearby and wait for it to reappear in the devices list.
When it does, tap or click the tracker again and choose Pair. The pairing process can take several minutes but when its done the Bluetooth status should change to “Connected.”
If your tracker is connected but won't sync, its possible your computer's Bluetooth signal is weak or temporarily compromised. Try plugging in the wireless sync dongle to sync your tracker with the app.
