The fitbit one syncs with the app but it rejects connecting with my Bluetooth on my umi super smartphone. Why is this?

@DancingBarber,

Welcome to the community!

Are you trying to pair your Fitbit to your phone through the Bluetooth settings?  If so, the Fitbit will just reject it.

I would try to simply install and log in to the Fitbit App on your phone.  It establishes the Bluetooth pairing for you and does the syncing.

I hope this helps.

It probably is not on the supported device list.

It will need to be set up on computer until it is

I am using the fitbit app and it still will not connect via bluetooth.  It will sync my phone with the one, but I cannot apply the firmware update.  The fitbit one app says: "Bluetooth Issues"  and tells me to cancel if it's the first time or Restart Bluetooth if it continues.  I have done both to no avail.

What I have done:

Restarted my fitbit one (multiple times)

Updated my fitbit app

Force stopped my fitbit app and reopened

Restarted my phone (Pixel XL)

Each time I get the same message "Bluetooth Issues"

@cstdenis I hope you're doing well! Thanks for reporting the situation you are experiencing with Fitbit One not syncing with the Fitbit app. Thanks for trying those steps in order to sort this out.

In this case, you can also try the following:

  • Restart Bluetooth (turn it off, wait 10 seconds, turn it back on)..
  • Log out from the Fitbit app, reboot your phone, log back in to the app.

Please check these syncing troubleshooting steps; you already did some of them but I'd recommend trying them again in the order shown there for best results.

Hope this helps. Keep me posted! Smiley Happy
