Fitbit One stopped charging

My fitbit one will not charge. I've tried the ideas on this board.  Is it possible the battery just will no longer function properly?  If so,, will fitbit trade it for one that will work, or is it possible to replace the battery in it?

How old is it? it could be on its last legs
