My Fitbit one has always tracked my stairs, but today it won't track any. I've tested it on different flights of stairs, I go up continuously, it's over 10 feet in elevation gain, and I don't check during the climb to see if it's working.
Is it possible that the altimeter is broken?

The way your One tracks stairs is by measuring changes in air pressure and it does this via the small hole on the back of your One. It's possible that this may have become blocked and that's preventing it getting readings. Try gently cleaning it with a toothbrush or something similar.
This totally worked for me. I used some pressurized air and squirted it in the hole and now it counted a flight of stairs with no issue. Thanks!
