My Fitbit One links to the Fitbit app it seems to have listed all my steps but when I try to update the software it says it can't be found or there's another tracker nearby but I don't have any other trackers. I went to the Bluetooth settings and tried to link it manually but even though it lists the One it won't connect . any suggestions?

Hi @ISSABEE - Sometimes problems can arise when there are too many Bluetooth devices around. Please try moving to a room that has no other BT devices ... no speakers, no Alexa’s or Google devices. Then open the settings on your phone and go to Bluetooth. If your One is listed, Forget It. Then try to manually connect again. Hopefully this will work. If it does not, another option is to remove the One from your Fitbit app ... remove it from BT ... then go back into your Account settings and add the One back in. Please let us know how it goes.

What version of the One firmware are you currently running? It's not been updated in years.
As @SunsetRunner advised, go to another room or outside away from everything. I have to go to a certain spot in my kitchen to add/update trackers as the app seems to get distracted by anything Bluetooth.

I would remove the One from your Bluetooth menu.
The app does not need the One to be paired.

You say the firmware that was released 3 maybe 4 years ago isn't getting loaded.
May I ask at what step does the failure occur?
Does the firmware start to download?
