My Fitbit One stopped syncing with my PC two weeks ago. I was traveling during part of the time so I didn't worry about it. I have tried to reset the Fitbit as well as update software. I keep getting the message "something went wrong try again". I have reset the Fitbit and reset the computer. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance for your help!
Best Answer@SKWS have you tried moving the dongle to another USB port (just a suggestion, I've tried before)? do you have a phone you can also install the app on to temporarily sync and potentially help deduce what's going on? if you don't have a phone, most tablets support the Fitbit app. It's worth trying other devices to determine the problem's with your PC, dongle, tracker, or account (probably not, but anything's possible). Cheers!
Best AnswerMine stopped syncing yesterday and I found directions for a hard reset. I tried it and it WORKED!!!
Plug your Fitbit One tracker into the charging cable (that is plugged into an outlet), making sure that the gold contacts on your tracker align with the gold contacts in the inside of the charger. Hold down your tracker's button for 10-12 seconds. Remove your tracker from the charging cable and press its button until the screen turns on (It took several presses, but it did turn on and works great again!).

I already tried that twice. Thank you for responding!
I have not tried moving the dongle. My phone won't support and I don't have a tablet. But I will try moving the dongle to another port and see what happens. Thank you so much for responding!

Best AnswerSame problem here. Phone won't work, no tablet and One won't sync to PC, despite doing everything that was suggested. Anything else I can do to start syncing again? Thank you
Best AnswerEventually. After enough people post about it. This is nothing new. Seems like every time a new update comes out, everything else stops working. At some point, this will be solved. I can guarantee you that it's on Fitbit to fix it, not anything we can do. Just been through this too many times to believe otherwise.
This sync issue has been happening with me for about three months. I am also getting a reboot every so often. it's garbage and since I've had mine for maybe..10 years... there is nothing I could do but repurchase and apparently the model is discontinued! This is the best model!
Best AnswerHOW!? The One released end of 2012, were you part of their initial testing? Cool! 😄 More amazingly is that your battery lasted 10 years, that's incredible. That's some great value out of one little One tracker 🙂 Congrats!
