There is a serious issue with the Fitbit ONE and syncing. Posted 08/10/17 (Maybe longer, maybe other Fitbit devices too).
This issue has been existing since at least MAY 2017 and it appears that tech support is either unknowing or deliberately dense to this.
The only way to get it to sync is to RESET the Fitbit every time there is a sync issue which could range from once a day to multiple times a day, depending on how often you like to sync. Simply put, the Fitbit falls off the bluetooth and once this happens it does not renegotiate a proper connection until it is reset.
There is either an issue with: The Fitbit firmware, or the fitbit apps. But I strongly suspect the firmware as this problem occurs on my phone (samsung/android), my tablet (samsung/android), and my PC!(windows 10)
We knew there was a serious issue as BOTH mine and my wife's Fitbits started having the exact problem on the exact same day. For all we know this is a way for Fitbit to try to get you to move onto other Fitbit products as they offer expired units 50% off if you choose to use another product. We stayed with ONE replacement and within 24 hours started having the same problems again.
FITBIT does not seem very interested in resolving this issue, because they barely even recognize that they even have an issue! They do not update us, and they offer no solutions!
Seriously thinking about switching to another brand as I have been struggling with this for some time now.
I am an IT/Tech professional, and have attempted on multiple occasions to try to get to the their engineering people to discuss all the different iterations of how this problem expresses itself, but I am met with nothing but stonewalling. The do not appear to be interested in SOLVING this issue.
Quite a shame, as this is the kind of thing that brings down companies.

Have you researched other brands?
I'm thinking the same thing but I've not yet done any research. I will especially start looking around since the ONE is being discontinued. I'm extremely upset about this bit of news!!
