Fitbit not connecting to web on line.

My Fitbit One is getting no connection to the webb on my computer.  Works fine on my phone.  This is a Fitbit problem.  I know a Fitbit One is not what this company cares about, but fix the problem. Those of us that have been here since the beginning  deserve more.

Sorry for the trouble, everyone! We recognize that syncing and setup were not completing successfully over the past few days for customers using older versions of Fitbit Connect. You should now be able to sync normally.

If you're still having difficulty syncing, please check the troubleshooting tips in this help article.

Just logged on to my WinXP computer and, lo and behold, I saw that my Fitbit One synced 3 min. ago. Yes!

Yeah, both of mine now work. We didn't have to unistall/re-install anything they both just work again now. Thanks.

I'm happy to have my Fitbit Connect working again tonight. I'm not particularly happy with the response time from Fitbit, and I'm definitely not happy with the personal reply I received this morning, but to have everything working again feels so good that it is less annoying. lol

I thought I was the only one having this problem.

I can't see my steps on my iPhone or on my Macbook. However the count is there on the Fitbit.

Also -- why when you go to the dashboard online can you no longer see your steps? Where is that figure hidden? It's doing my head in.

Hallelujah! PC USB port dongle and syncing working! All activity data updated. Thanks Fitbit community for your input & feedback. Agree communications from Fitbit Company inadequate.

Mine was up and running again yesterday but today the manual sync has stopped working again.

Luckily the automatic syncing is still working but I like to use the manual too!

I have of course tried the restart of the Fitbit One & the removal & reinstall of Fitbit Connect, maybe not all the glitches have been resolved Smiley Sad

Just logged onto my Windows XP pc in order to follow the instructions sent by the Fitbit Helpline, to find all my data downloaded automatically.
Extremely glad, but can't help think of the unnecessary trouble I nearly went to in updating to Win8.1 as instructed.

The problem has reemerged after only one day! "No internet connection" again with dongle so no syncing.

Fitbit what is going on? Your customers need advice. Should we throw our devices away?

Today, I received a message about "no software" for the USB device. I.e., Fitbit the dongle.

What Windows system do we need to now use our Fitbit hardware?

Yes. The brief manual sync has failed again today. It seems there is now
also a device software issue. I.e., the USB/ dongle.

It's a bit like "pot luck" at the moment. since my last post; I persisted
with USB dongle and managed manual sync are many attempts.

I always use USB dongle/ manual sync. Who knows what will happen next time?

How do you access automatic sync. generally? I don't use other devices only
PC.

I'm planning to upgrade to Windows 10 over the next 12-24 hours. How is that
going to impact my current Fitbit One "Hit & Miss" situation?

This is so ridiculous…no one should have to spend so many HOURS for WEEKS
to "fix" something only to have another issue later on. Problems persist
every 2—3 months. I will NEVER recommend Fitbit to ANYONE.

My Question is why does Fitbit not care about its most loyal customers?

I.e., early adopters who haven't lost their Fitbit like many of those I
know.

Those who I know have abandoned "Fitbit" & use other tools to manage their
activity.

I've found that I can sync manually on the computer, but that's the only
way it'll sync. Not through the iPhone app, not through just being near the
laptop.

It's insane. And frustrating. No challenges for me, because it's not
registering online. And that's annoying because I like doing the
challenges.
