The stop watch IS sleep mode that is, if you are attempting to monitor your sleep. You stop it when you wake up in the morning. When you sync your Fitbit, your sleep pattern from the past night will be shown

Thanks! I had the same "problem" did not realize that it the stopwatch is sleep mode! Now how do you stop the stopwatch? Do you press it down for 2+ seconds?

Yep! Click the button until you get to the stop watch and hold it down until it stops. I use it nightly. In fact, I purchased the Fitbit One primarily solely as a sleep monitor. When I sync, I toggle between normal and sensitive mode to estimate my average night's sleep.

So I have to leave the stop watch running all night cos I've never had to do that before

@frenchyjoey Welcome to the Fitbit family! I'm glad to hear that the outstanding replies from @zodybee helped you out with this matter. Thanks you so much @zodybee! Smiley Very Happy

@Janinebabhart Thanks for joining the Fitbit family! Did you tried? Take a look at the following steps to track sleep with your One:

  1. Place your tracker into the sleep wristband and affix the band around your non-dominant wrist.
  2. Once you are in bed and ready to fall asleep, press and hold the tracker's button for several seconds. You will see a stopwatch begin to count, and the other tracker icons will blink, indicating that you are in sleep mode.
  3. When you wake up, hold the button down for several seconds to stop the sleep recording. Your tracker's icons will stop blinking, indicating that you've exited sleep mode.

Once you exit sleep mode, your tracker will resume displaying daily totals. Sync your tracker to see your sleep stats on the dashboard.

Hope this helps. Keep me posted! Smiley Happy
